On October 4, at the threshold between day and night, Novecento and IDRA presented a double live performance inside the stone architecture of a church in Lucignano d’Asso, as part of Giornate del Contemporaneo.
The two performances unfolded as successive and interconnected chapters, exploring different approaches to sound, resonance and temporal perception while remaining within a shared frequency framework.

As the natural light slowly faded, the space itself became an active element of the composition.
40Hz sub-frequencies interacted with the volume of the church, amplifying vibration, silence and reverberation, allowing sound to settle into the architecture and into the bodies of the listeners.

The transition from daylight to dusk marked a gradual shift in listening, from visual orientation to full auditory immersion.
What emerged was a suspended and collective experience, where music, architecture and natural time converged into a single perceptual field, transforming the concert into an act of deep and attentive listening.
