SUMMARY:Open Studio Stegonaute\, 40Hz\, Phase 2
DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, September 16\, Casa degli Artisti hosts the Open Studio of Stegonaute\, French composer François Sivignon and fourth artist in residence for 40Hz\, Phase 2. \nDuring his residency\, Stegonaute developed a new immersive composition in which analog synthesizers\, tape loops\, field recordings and electronic textures meet low frequencies around 40 Hz. \nHis warm\, deep and enveloping sound brings the analog dimension of his practice into the 40Hz research\, exploring the relationship between repetition\, texture\, perception and the physical experience of listening. \nThe Open Studio combines a live performance with a new session of the 40Hz scientific research programme. \nEEG measurements will be carried out on a selected sample of participants in collaboration with WhyPsy Lab and the University of Pavia\, while the audience will contribute to data collection by completing scientific questionnaires before and after the listening experience. \nThe protocol also includes sEMG measurements\, conducted in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Turin and technical partner LWT3\, to observe muscular activity and physiological responses in real time during the performance. \nSchedule\nFirst session \nAudience arrival and questionnaire completion\, 7.45 pm \nLive performance\, 8.00 pm \nBook the 7.45 pm session \nSecond session \nAudience arrival and questionnaire completion\, 9.15 pm \nLive performance\, 9.30 pm \nBook the 9.15 pm session \nThe questionnaire is completed via smartphone and takes approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
