SUMMARY:Open Studio Lo. Sai - 40hz - Phase 2
DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, July 23\, Casa degli Artisti hosts the Open Studio of Lorenzo Saini\, the third artist in residence for 40Hz\, Phase 2. \nDuring his residency\, Lorenzo composed a new 28 minute work\, integrating low frequencies around 40 Hz into his musical language through the 40Hz Rack and the project’s shared protocol\, in dialogue with the artistic direction and the scientific team. \nThe Open Studio combines a live performance with a new session of the 40Hz scientific research programme. \nEEG measurements will be carried out on a selected sample of participants\, while the audience will contribute to the data collection by completing scientific questionnaires before and after the listening experience. \nThe protocol also includes sEMG measurements\, conducted in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Turin and technical partner LWT3\, to observe muscular activity and physiological responses in real time during the performance. \nSchedule\nFirst session \nAudience arrival and questionnaire completion\, 7.45 pm \nLive performance\, 8.00 pm \nSecond session \nAudience arrival and questionnaire completion\, 9.15 pm \nLive performance\, 9.30 pm \nThe questionnaire is completed via smartphone and takes approximately 5 to 10 minutes. \nInformation and reservations\nhttps://www.casadegliartisti.org/evento/open-studio-lorenzo-saini/ \nWith thanks to the Polytechnic University of Turin\, LWT3\, the University of Pavia\, LifeGate\, Egidio Galvan\, Municipio 1 of the City of Milan\, Music Innovation Hub\, Urbantale\, That’s Contemporary\, and the entire artistic and scientific team\, Idra and Brail.
